Rediscover the thunderous music of Hammer’s legendary Dracula.
With principal photography concluding on Christmas Eve 1957, the film moved into post-production, where composer James Bernard created one of the most instantly recognisable scores in Hammer horror.
Long thought lost, the original session tapes have not survived. During Hammer’s 2026 4K restoration, around twenty minutes of clean music were painstakingly extracted and remastered from surviving materials — presented here for the first time.

Filmed during April/May 1972 with writer Brian Clemens also directing, Captain Kronos Vampire Hunter initially suffered through bad theatrical distribution but has latterly become appreciated by fans as a stylish, ahead-of-its-time "revamp" of the gothic vampire mythos.
By August 1972, legendary composer Laurie Johnson – a close associate and friend of Clemens since they first worked together on The Avengers in the 1960s – had composed and created a rousing, swashbuckling score that was then synchronised against Clemens's visuals by Hammer's music supervisor Phil Martell.
This double-disc LP features nearly 55 minutes of Laurie Johnson's music for Captain Kronos Vampire Hunter. By turns stirring, romantic, unsettling and bombastic, this much-requested, highly-memorable score is made available here on vinyl for the first time anywhere in the world.
