By August 1972, legendary composer Laurie Johnson – a close associate and friend of Clemens since they first worked together on The Avengers in the 1960s – had composed and created a rousing, swashbuckling score that was then synchronised against Clemens's visuals by Hammer's music supervisor Phil Martell.
This double-disc LP features nearly 55 minutes of Laurie Johnson's music for Captain Kronos Vampire Hunter. By turns stirring, romantic, unsettling and bombastic, this much-requested, highly-memorable score is made available here on vinyl for the first time anywhere in the world.
