Composer to Count Dracula

After many years of waiting, David Huckvale's excellent biography of Hammer composer, the late James Bernard has been published by McFarland & Co in the US.
The book entitled 'James Bernard, Composer to Count Dracula' was written with Bernard's full co-operation and includes a foreword by Ingrid Pitt. The author, David Huckvale, lectures in music and cultural studies for amongst others, Cambridge University and Birmingham University. This promises to be a definitive text.
