The Golden Age of British Horror

The American Cinematheque has arranged a three-week retrospective of British horror (1955-1975) at the Egyptian theatre, Los Angeles in June. The massive event will include screenings of a number of classic Hammer horrors, many sourced from new prints...

Films include The Quatermass Xperiment, Quatermass II, The Gorgon, Stranglers of Bombay, The Nanny, The Two Faces of Dr Jekyll, X - The Unknown, Revenge of Frankenstein, Horror of Dracula, Taste the Blood of Dracula and more.

The season runs from June 8 - 28th 2006.
