Official Hammer Horror quad posters launched

We are delighted to announce the arrival of the latest officially licensed Hammer products - a series of 12 reproduction posters. Each poster features the original UK Quad artwork (including designs by legendary artist Tom Chantrell), digitally restored and printed to exact quad size.

The posters are being produced under license by Posters and Stuff Ltd, with each reproduction and restoration produced by artist and designer Steve Reed.

Each title in the series has been scanned from an original poster at very high resolution. Steve Reed then digitally restores each one personally - removing crease and fold marks, pin holes, tears, dirty marks etc - resulting in a poster which exactly replicates the original artwork as when first printed. The posters are litho printed in the UK on 170gsm matte paper.

The first series will feature 12 quads, released at 1 per month starting with The Curse of Frankenstein to celebrate its 50th anniversary this year, and ending with Dracula in its 50th anniversary year, 2008. Other announced titles in this first series include Countess Dracula, Vampire Circus, Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires, and Twins of Evil.

Each poster retails at £19.99, and is shipped rolled in a special tube and subscribers to the series who order through Posters and Stuff will also receive an exclusive double bill quad free.

The posters are also available from selected specialist stores, and from the official Hammer Shop here.
