Classic Hammer Horrors and Peter Sasdy at 10th Fantastic Films Weekend, Bradford 10-12 June
Next weekend (10-12 June 2011) sees the 10th annual Fantastic Films Weekend (FFW) at the National Media Museum in Bradford, West Yorkshire, and this year's event promises screenings of several classic Hammer horrors as part of the programme.
The 10th FFW is decidedly retro in tone, with a series of screenings to mark the centernary of the birth of Vincent Price, and to mark the passing of Hammer veterans Roy Ward Baker and Ingrid Pitt. The festival takes place across 3 screens at the venue, including rare 70mm screenings, archive television, special guests and more.
Peter Sasdy, the director of Hammer's Taste The Blood Of Dracula, Hands Of The Ripper and Countess Dracula will be in attendance on Friday 10 June, while director Jonathan Miller will be appearing on Sunday 12.
The full programme is available to download in pdf form from here.
