Cut price classics

Since 17 May, Warner Home Video have been releasing a number of Hammer films on the budget Classic Horror label. The titles are all taken from the former Lumiere catalogue and include The Devil Rides Out, Dracula Prince of Darkness, Frankenstein Created Woman, The Horror of Frankenstein, Quatermass and the Pit and Rasputin The Mad Monk. Curiously, the range also includes the adventure films The Devil-Ship Pirates, She and The Vengeance of She, several of which have not been available commercially in the United Kingdom for some years.

Each PAL VHS tape is priced at £5.99, but for the first eight weeks of sale many outlets will be offering any two tapes for the special price of £10.00.
