The premiere horror, science fiction and fantasty film event of the North of England is back for its 8th year.

Bolder than ever, the festival is packed with classic shockers (Satanic Rites of Dracula, Madhouse, Vampyr), alongside fresh blood (The Scarcrow, The Call of Cthulhu), 70mm screening of Aliens, IMAX treatment for Star Trek and more.

This year's special guest is Mike Hodges, and both The Terminal Man (Director's Cut) and Flash Gordon are screening alongside an on-stage interview with the director.

With tickets available from £3.90 for individual films through to £50 for a weekend pass, there's something for everyone.
